Rhonda Rector, LMHC
Rhonda Rector holds a masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and a Play Therapy Certification from Capella University. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida and has a background in education, which includes working with special needs students on the Autism Spectrum, ADHD, and Down’s syndrome.
Rhonda has been in the counseling and education field since 2004 with an emphasis on families and children. She collaborates to set goals, increase communication, and empower the family by utilizing play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and bibliotherapy. She works with clients and families to address concerns regarding self esteem, grief, social skills, anxiety, and many other school and family related concerns.
Rhonda works alongside parents, caregivers, teachers, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, behavioral therapists, and physical therapists to create a holistic plan to best help meet each child’s specific goals for overall wellness.
